Our web design process, step by step

From first chat to launch — what actually happens, who does what, and roughly how long each step takes.

We keep the process simple and visible. You’re never guessing what stage you’re at. Here’s the whole thing.

1 · Discovery

We talk about your business, who you’re trying to reach, and what the site needs to do — sell, book, inform, or just be a credible front door. We agree on the pages and the goal for each one. No jargon required from you.

2 · Design

We design the key pages first — usually the homepage and one inner page — so you can react to the look and feel before we build everything. You give feedback, we adjust. We’d rather get the direction right here than rework it later.

3 · Build

We hand-build the approved design, make it work properly on phones and tablets, and wire up the bits that matter: contact forms, maps, galleries, or a store. This is where your content goes in.

4 · Review

You get a private preview link. Click around, read everything, and send changes in one batch — it’s faster for both of us than a trickle of small notes. We fix, you re-check.

5 · Launch

We connect your domain, install the free SSL certificate, and take the site live on our hosting. See connecting your domain and going live for the technical side.

6 · Ongoing care

Launch isn’t the end. Your plan includes monthly update hours plus lifetime hosting and maintenance, so the site stays current and secure. See how your monthly update hours work.

How long does it take? A simple Starter site can be live in a couple of weeks; larger or eCommerce sites take longer. The single biggest factor is how quickly content and feedback come back to us — which is mostly in your hands.
